 John Suciu, Senior Pastor
John has been at Wallen since December of 1987. Prior to Wallen, he served as Youth Pastor at Blackhawk Baptist Church in Fort Wayne for four and a half years. John graduated from Cedarville University in 1983 with a degree in Bible and Greek. He then attended Grace Theological Seminary for three years studying Theology and Greek. His greatest education, though, has come through shepherding Wallen Baptist Church for over 20 years. John and his wife Amy have four children, Maggie, Caleb, Luke, and Andrew, a son-in-law, Noah, and a granddaughter, Ellie.

 Jim Glover, Associate Pastor
Jim grew up in rural upstate New York and received his formal education from Liberty University. After having served in churches in New York and Indiana, Jim joined the staff in August of 2002, bringing with him some 20 years of ministry experience. Jim oversees the Adult Ministries at Wallen, including the Greeter Ministry, Adult Bible Fellowships, and STEPS Discipleship Classes. In addition, Jim helps with providing pastoral care and Biblical counseling. Jim and his wife Patti have four sons, Matthew, Mark, Michael, and Jonathon.

 Joel Peterson, Music Director
Joel grew up in the region of Paris, France, and received his formal training from the Moody Bible Institute. He has served in churches primarily in the Chicago, Illinois, area and most recently in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Joel joined the Wallen staff in September of 2006. Joel is an accomplished musician and teacher who brings 24 years of ministry experience to our church family. Joel leads the Music and Arts Ministries here at Wallen, including the Choir, Worship Team, Praise Band, and musical presentations. Joel and his wife Penny have two children, Stephanie and Jacob, and a golden retriever named Tiffany.

 Rob Mansfield, Youth Pastor
Rob grew up in Philadelphia and Fort Wayne and received a degree in Biblical Languages from Grace College. He went on to earn his Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary. Rob has been involved in youth ministry for over 17 years and loves working with Junior and Senior High students. Rob joined the staff in 1996 and enjoys working in the same town (Fort Wayne) and in the same area (youth) that had such an impact on him. Rob and his wife Brenda have four lovely and energetic children, Sydney, Isaac, Ethan, and Micah.Email: rmansfield@wallen.org
 Christine Overholt, Children’s Ministry Director
Christine and her husband Phil have been attending Wallen since 1991. Before joining the staff, Christine served within the Women’s, Youth, Children’s, and Music ministries. She joined the staff in 1999 and is responsible for overseeing and administrating ministry to children nursery age through elementary school. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Grace College and a Master of Ministry degree with Grace Theological Seminary. Christine and Phil have three children, Amanda, Kayla, and Jonathan (all born and raised at Wallen).

 Pat Garvey, Church Administrator
Pat and his wife Judy have attended Wallen since 2003. Pat joined the staff in 2009. Pat has 34 years experience in public school administration. When not serving at Wallen he continues to direct the Educational Leadership Program at the IPFW School of Education. Pat received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Butler University. He earned his doctorate from Ball State University in 1981. The Garvey’s have five grown children and nine grandchildren. Pat and Judy enjoy flying and visiting with family.
